Bridget O’Keefe, MA is a Program Coordinator II supporting the Community Violence and Trauma Support programs.
Bridget O’Keefe, MA joined the Center for Violence Prevention in January 2023 to provide administrative, programmatic, and budget support to the Community Violence and Trauma Support teams. Prior to joining CHOP, Bridget was a Community Engagement Coordinator in municipal government working on language access, workforce development, and New American community outreach projects. The early part of her career was in patient financial services for a large health system. She coordinated with both payors and clinical staff to overturn claim denials and identify root causes of continued issues. Bridget will use her analytic and communication skills to fill in administrative gaps for the Community Violence and Trauma Support programs.
Bridget’s academic research focused on post-1945 US history of the family, with special topics of motherhood, political history, place, and media. She is excited to apply her interests in community development with her academic research in this role at CHOP.
