Carolena Muno is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Center for Violence Prevention. She assists in several projects that aim to ensure wider access to recovery-oriented resources for youth who experience violence. Lena’s work with CVP began when she was an REU student in the summer of 2021. Her interest in violence prevention and her appreciation of CVP’s community-based and trauma-informed principles encouraged her to continue researching with CVP throughout the rest of her undergraduate studies and beyond. Lena will begin pursuing her MD at Jefferson Medical College in the summer of 2024.
