Deanna Amarosa, MSPH is the Outreach Program Coordinator for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) and the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She focuses on disseminating the Center’s research results, educational materials, and programming to key stakeholder audiences.

Deanna Amarosa, MSPH is the Outreach Program Coordinator for the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) and the Center for Violence Prevention (CVP) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She focuses on disseminating the Center’s research results, educational materials, and programming to key stakeholder audiences. In her role, she uses digital communications strategies and public relations tactics to help promote CIRP and CVP research and resources.

Deanna recently received a Master of Science in Public Health degree in Health Education and Health Communication at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Prior to joining the Center, Deanna worked as a Health Communications Research Assistant and interned for the Journal of Communication in Healthcare: Strategies, Media and Engagement in Global Health
