Jami Stocks is an Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Specialist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Violence Prevention. As part of the STOP IPV Team, Jami focuses on responding to domestic violence related cases and providing training on domestic violence for CHOP Providers. Jami works closely with the STOP IPV Team to review policy and screening procedures, identify and support patients experiencing domestic violence, train staff on domestic violence education and trauma informed care, and generate IPV outreach and awareness within the CHOP community.
Jami Stocks is the Medical Advocacy Program Coordinator for Laurel House located in Montgomery County, PA. Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency focused on prevention, advocacy, and empowerment. As a Medical Advocate, Jami trains health professionals in Montgomery County on the importance of screening and responding to domestic violence in the healthcare setting. She graduated from Arcadia University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and interned at Temple University’s COVID-19 Contact Tracing Unit. Jami has been certified in the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s justice, autonomy, and safety training.
